Processing Times
Important: A patch test and regular lash or brow checks are mandatory. Always monitor the processing closely to prevent overprocessing.
TRUELIFT works faster than our regular Korean Lash Lift lotions. Therefore, perform the Lash Check no later than after 6 minutes, or preferably as early as after 4 minutes, to prevent overprocessing.
Always assume that TRUELIFT requires a shorter processing time than our classic lotions.
Also remember that although the lotion is applied to the lash tips as well, you must remove it from the tips as usual after 6 minutes – with TRUELIFT, you can and should preferably remove it already after 4 minutes.
Lash Step 1 Processing Times:
- Fine lashes: 6 minutes.
- Normal lashes: 7 to 8 minutes.
- Strong lashes: 9 minutes.
- Thick or highly resistant lashes: 10 to 11 minutes
⚠️ Important: When using the Korean technique, remove the lotion from the tips of the lashes after 4 minutes using a damp cotton swab. If you are using a pH Balancer, apply it afterwards. Directly after applying the pH Balancer, apply Step 3 or the Between and After Nutri Balm to the tips of the lashes.
Lash Step 2 Processing Times:
- Fine lashes: 6 minutes.
- Normal lashes: 7 minutes.
- Strong, thick or highly resistant lashes: 8 minutes.
Brow Step 1:
Leave Step 1 on for 5 to a maximum of 8 minutes, depending on the thickness and resistance of the brow hairs.
Brow Step 2:
Always process Step 2 for 2 minutes less than the processing time used for Step 1.
Do Not Cover Brows: Do not cover the brows with cling film during processing.
Detailed Instructions
Depending on the technique, the procedure is essentially the same as for a classic lash lift or a Korean lash lift.
Classic technique: Apply the lashes to a standard lifting shield. With TrueLift, this can be done without balm, powder, or adhesive.
Korean technique: Apply the lashes to the flat shield. With TrueLift, this can also be done without balm, powder, or adhesive.
⚠️ Important: When using the Korean technique, remove the lotion from the tips of the lashes after 4 minutes using a damp cotton swab. If you are using a pH Balancer, apply it afterwards. Directly after applying the pH Balancer, apply Step 3 or the Between and After Nutri Balm to the tips of the lashes.
Note💡 Depending on your level of experience, it may be easy for you to lift the lashes onto the flat pad in the first step, or a little more challenging. We have two tips for this:
Option 1️⃣
Use a very thin, flat pad for the upper lid, such as our ULTRA THIN PADS or our TRUELIFT PADS. This makes the process easier than with the Dolphin Pad, which is slightly thicker. Additionally, Lotion 1 can be mixed with a small amount of Mix & Fix Powder for an even thicker and more adhesive consistency.
Option 2️⃣
Use the original Korean technique. Instead of fixing the flat pad on the upper lid and lifting the lashes upwards in the first step, you can simply place it on the lower lid and then secure the lashes downwards onto the pad with lotion. This gives you less resistance. Only in the second step do you attach the actual lash lifting pad to the upper lid and lift the lashes upwards. Lash checks are mandatory with the Korean method as well.
